Midas Belterman is a logistics engineer and consultant at UC Group. With around five years of experience, he supports organisations in analysing and optimising logistics and supply chain challenges in sectors such as logistics services, retail, industry, pharma and e-commerce.
He combines an analytical, data-driven approach with a pragmatic and connecting way of working, and guides clients from strategy determination through to implementation. The focus is on scalable, workable solutions with an eye for continuity and cost.
Midas mainly works at a strategic and tactical level on a variety of logistics projects. Through analyses and interactive workshops, he helps organisations determine their logistics strategy and make informed choices. He also has experience with activity-based costing to provide insight into the cost of logistics operations.
He is involved in implementation processes too, including leading a project for logistics automation such as AutoStore with conveyors. As a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, he focuses on process improvement, cost reduction and achieving measurable results, supported by data analysis and visualisation using Power BI.
