Midas Belterman is a logistics engineer and consultant at UC Group. With approximately five years of experience, he supports organizations in analyzing and optimizing logistical and supply chain issues within sectors such as logistics services, retail, industry, pharma and e-commerce.
He combines an analytical, data-driven approach with a pragmatic and connecting way of working and guides customers from strategy determination to implementation. The focus here is on scalable, executable solutions with an eye for continuity and costs.
Midas mainly works at a strategic and tactical level on a variety of logistics projects. Through analyses and interactive workshops, he helps organizations determine their logistical strategy and make informed choices. In addition, he has experience with activity-based costing to provide insight into the cost of logistical operations.
He is also involved in implementation processes, including leading a project for logistical automation such as AutoStore with conveyors. As a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, he focuses on process improvement, cost reduction and achieving measurable results, supported by data analysis and visualization using Power BI.
