Wilbert (founder of UC Group) is an energetic builder who combines entrepreneurship with his experience as a Logistics Engineer. This logistical experience translates into supporting clients with complex mechanization and robotization issues. In his current role, he manages the Engineering team and helps both the customer find the best solution and the logistics engineer in his or her development and growth into an independent consultant.
After the experiences in the 'experience' section, he opted for entrepreneurship: a period in which he built UC Group, a consultancy, realization and interim agency. Organized in a unique network of closely linked companies, UC Group helps its clients achieve modern Supply Chain and production issues. In 10 years, he and his partner managed to achieve 20-fold growth for this network. In addition, he supported clients with complex mechanization and robotization issues, was partly responsible for the start of chain director BEND, and took over the e-Fulfillment Academy course in 2015.
Experience that comes together well in his role as director of innovation and operations. In this role, he ensures stable business operations for the companies in the network and uses his specialized Supply Chain knowledge to initiate innovation within the UC Group network. With his track record, he identifies opportunities for new companies to improve UC Group's services to its customers and strengthen the network effect for all stakeholders.
Before Wilbert started as an entrepreneur, he worked at Incontrol, TDG and DHL Supply Chain. For his employers and clients in the Supply Chain sector, he has always focused on optimizing business operations. Through the continuous improvement of processes by applying digitization, mechanization and robotization solutions. Always with the aim of adding value to the company by making the processes more in line with the business strategy.
