Lars has gained experience with both logistics service providers and shippers, in commercial and operational roles. He has thus developed into a senior supply chain and operations professional. Over the years, Lars has developed a clear picture of how supply chain and operations can provide value to a company at a strategic level and how that can be achieved. Lars has worked for many years in multicultural organizations and is good at making the connection between strategy, realization and daily operations. With an open and informal style, Lars knows how to get people moving and involved in a change.
Early in his career, Lars became acquainted with the dynamics of an international field of work and multicultural cooperation at a local Freight Forwarder at Schiphol. He then broadened and deepened his logistical expertise by taking a step towards Contract Logistics. He then took a step to 'the other side of the table' and started working at Samsung Electronics. His challenge here was to facilitate logistical growth for various product groups in various markets.
All in all, Lars has carried out various functions and projects in the European supply chain, such as: sourcing logistics services, European network studies and their implementation, greenfield warehouse implementations and implementing eCommerce solutions.
