Jur de Kok is a logistics engineer and consultant at UC Group. He has extensive experience in analyzing, designing and optimizing supply chains in various sectors, including retail, industry, pharma and logistics services. In his work, Jur combines data analysis with practical knowledge to clarify complex logistical issues and support decision-making.
His focus is on supply chain design, network studies and warehouse and transport optimization, helping organizations make informed choices in terms of costs, service levels and scalability (B2B & B2C).
In recent years, Jur has worked on various strategic and tactical projects, such as network studies, distribution models, growth scenarios and RFQ processes for logistics service providers and IT systems (WMS, TMS, ERP). He develops and calculates scenarios and business cases (OPEX/CAPEX) and translates customer ambitions into concrete and executable solutions.
As a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Jur has experience in structuring and improving processes, identifying wastes and achieving measurable improvements. He works intensively with data analysis and visualization (Power BI) and guides stakeholders from operation to management level in making and implementing choices.
