Chris is an experienced IT strategist who has been successfully connecting technology, people, and organizations for over 30 years. After studying Electrical Engineering at TU Delft, with a specialization in Control Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, he grew into a versatile IT manager and consultant. Chris is known for his creative and pragmatic approach, where collaboration and results are key.
Chris brings experience from both consultancy and line positions. He worked at Cap Gemini, consulting firm Verdonck, Klooster & Associates and PostNL, among others. At PostNL, he held roles in operations, logistics IT and innovation, and led DevOps teams to develop low-code logistics applications. In addition, he set up an internal low-code community to stimulate knowledge sharing and standardization. Since 2023, Chris has been an independent entrepreneur who supports organizations with advice, design and implementation of IT solutions in logistics and supply chain.
Chris combines in-depth knowledge of IT, process analysis and project management with a sense of people and organization. He quickly oversees complex issues and translates strategies into concrete, feasible solutions. He has experience with Agile and SAFE methods, low-code development, chain optimization, integration and innovation based on various technologies. Chris is known for his ability to structure change and achieve it together with teams — always with an eye for results and support. He likes to contribute to issues at the intersection of Supply Chain and IT — from the 4 O's: Research, Design, Development and Organization.
