Rob is a creative warehousing specialist with extensive experience. He likes to help customers improve existing processes, layout optimization or greenfield design studies. Armed with his Layout3D drawing software, he quickly brings concepts to life.
From his studies, Rob started working for a logistics service provider as a process engineer, looking for improvements with his feet in the clay. Only equipped with Excel, a WMS, work instructions and good relationships with colleagues and customers, he has initiated and implemented many small and large continuous improvement projects.
In recent years, Rob has mainly been developing and implementing greenfield warehouse solutions. By listening carefully to the wishes of his customers and looking at relevant data from all possible angles, he is able to quickly create an initial concept as a basis for further iteration. Thanks to the use of Layout3D drawing software, Rob continues to take his customers on a journey to the perfect warehouse. From concept to realization.
Rob's true passion is automation and stays up to date with what the market has to offer. Automation is increasingly being set as a goal when realising new or optimized logistics operations. Rob's motto is that automation is a tool and not an end in itself. What can be achieved with a good team and WMS is still relevant today! This as a base case for justifying that automation.
