I'm a creative warehousing specialist with extensive experience. I love helping clients improve existing processes, optimise layouts or carry out greenfield design studies. Armed with my Layout3D design software, I bring concepts to life quickly.
After my studies, I started at a logistics service provider as a process engineer, boots in the mud looking for improvements. Equipped only with Excel, a WMS, work instructions and good relationships with colleagues and clients, I initiated and implemented many small and large continuous-improvement projects.
In recent years I've mainly focused on developing and delivering greenfield warehouse solutions. By listening carefully to my clients' wishes and looking at relevant data from every possible angle, I can quickly put down a first concept as a basis for further iteration. Partly thanks to Layout3D design software, I take my clients further on the journey to the perfect warehouse — from concept to delivery.
Automation is a real passion of mine and I keep up with what the market has to offer. Increasingly, automation is set as a goal when delivering new or optimised logistics operations. My motto is that automation is a means, not an end in itself. Still relevant today is what you can achieve with a good team and a WMS — as the base case to justify that automation.
