Perry Gruntjens is an experienced and driven transport professional with more than 30 years of expertise in logistics and transport management. He specializes in optimizing transport processes, managing teams and successfully managing complex projects.
His knowledge mainly lies in bulk transport of liquid products, ADR and GMP products, and he is also familiar with Seveso regulations. In addition, Perry has extensive experience in implementing logistics automation systems and realizing customer-oriented logistics solutions. He always strives to optimize processes and deliver maximum efficiency.
In addition to his professional career, he is passionate about photography, skiing and golf. He likes to combine these hobbies with traveling, enjoying new destinations and challenges, both in his work and personal life.
Perry started his career in 1991 as a driver and logistics employee at Full Speed Transport, where he was responsible for transports across Europe. In addition to carrying out transports, he managed the drivers' time administration and invoicing.
After his time at Full Speed Transport, he worked at TIR 2000 Transport, where he gained experience transporting fresh meat to Italy and Spain. Here he learned how to deal with the logistical challenges of temperature-sensitive products.
Not much later, Perry held a position as a logistics employee at Jan Verhaegh Transport B.V. In this role, he organized groupage transports and special transports in Europe, including large and heavy transport. He was responsible for planning, customer communication and analysis of transport data to improve processes.
In 2003, he became transport manager and co-owner of Vendrig Transport B.V. For more than 20 years, he led this company, responsible for the daily logistics and transport processes. He managed a team of 20 drivers and 8 logistics employees, negotiated contracts with multinationals and suppliers, and ensured compliance with transport and safety regulations. He implemented important automation systems such as Data2Track, Transpas Enterprise and Exact Online and played a key role in linking these systems to business processes.
