I am a driven Logistics Engineer at UC Group. After completing my Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management, I am excited to apply the knowledge and practical experience I have gained over the past eight years within UC Group. In addition to my Bachelor's degree, I completed a vocational degree in Logistics Management and gained experience through various logistics positions and internships.
Throughout my education and professional experience, I have learned that successful improvements are not only about processes and data, but also about the people who work with them. I therefore get a great deal of energy from working with people on the shop floor, understanding their experiences and jointly identifying practical improvements. By bringing together different perspectives, I aim to develop solutions that not only work well on paper, but are also supported and successfully implemented in practice.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I am also passionate about football and have a strong interest in following various forms of motorsport and car racing.
I have gained experience at various logistics service providers and transport companies, where I focused on improving and optimizing internal logistics processes. In addition, I have built a strong operational foundation by working in a transport company's warehouse alongside my studies for several years. This has given me experience with logistics processes not only from a theoretical perspective, but also with the day-to-day reality of working on the shop floor.
During my graduation internship, I contributed to the transition to a new WMS. I also investigated opportunities for improvement within a recently implemented TMS. My work focused on process optimization, user-friendliness and ensuring that systems align effectively with day-to-day operations.
My expertise lies at the intersection of logistics, process improvement and people. I combine an analytical mindset with a practical and collaborative approach to help organizations improve their logistics processes in a sustainable way.
