I dream up future visions with entrepreneurs in the middle of digital transformation. I guide you through the forest of solutions, services, cloud and data integration. I know the pitfalls and put the customer at the centre. I have in-depth knowledge of data sharing, ERP, data governance, supply chain, iSHARE, Industry 4.0 and the digital economy, while keeping my feet on the ground when it comes to the added value this can offer you as an entrepreneur and how it can be delivered in practice.
I'm also loyal and driven, a family man who moved to Brussels for love. A life-loving sports enthusiast who enjoys being outdoors: sailing, mountain biking, travel and cooking. A European at heart who likes to push on and devise and deliver working structures and solutions. Multilingual (including German, English and Dutch), I enjoy thinking and building together with people.
My Management / Business Information Technology degree formed the foundation, after which I deepened my knowledge further. Starting out as a programmer, ERP Supply Chain Consultant, programme manager, internet entrepreneur and interim IT manager, I laid a solid foundation for the rest of my career.
As executive (account) manager of an IT services organisation, these skills came into their own in guiding many clients, often in an international setting, in turning their digital ambitions into achievable solutions.
My knowledge and experience allow me to quickly understand business processes, identify the causes of problem areas and translate them into workable solutions. I understand ecosystem thinking, give the people behind the systems a decisive role, and have a keen interest in planning and optimisation challenges. I see the importance of integration with suppliers and customers, 3PL/4PL optimisation using artificial intelligence, data-sharing solutions and cloud services, and I understand the importance of integrating and orchestrating all these services within the client's business processes.
