In his spare time, he likes to work out or visit football matches.
In his current role as Junior Logistics Engineer at UC Group Jean-Paul works on a variety of logistical issues within production, retail and logistical environments. He supports interim, advice and realization processes where he uses data analysis to improve logistics concepts and make processes more efficient and future-proof. Here, he works closely with experienced supply chain professionals and translates analyses into concrete, feasible solutions.
During his thesis project at a omnichannel retailer he focused on supply chain resilience and supplier risks. Using Power BI, he developed a supplier map that provided insight into origin, chain risks and CO₂ impact. Through GAP and scenario analyses and active coordination with suppliers, he formulated practical advice to proactively manage risks and increase supply chain resilience.
Previously, Jean-Paul gained experience at a production company, where he focused on layout design and optimization of internal logistics processes. In addition, he has built a strong operational base within a supermarket organization, where he was active for years as an assistant team leader in goods processing and process. In this role, he developed leadership skills, process insight and inventory management experience in a dynamic retail environment.
Jean-Paul is known for being structured, critical and practical, with a keen eye for process improvement and data-supported decision making. His ambition is to continuously contribute to efficient, innovative and sustainable supply chain solutions.
