Hans was born on a houseboat in Rotterdam-IJsselmonde and it's no surprise that he started his career in shipping. He gained his logistical experience at Nike in Belgium and the Netherlands for a number of years, and expanded his Supply Chain knowledge in breadth and depth when working for companies such as Thermo Fisher and bol.com. After that, he was head of logistics at Suitsupply for five years, supporting the globalization of the brand, especially in the US and China.
Thanks to his in-depth knowledge of operational processes, he quickly identifies primary issues and has the drive needed for improvements and optimization. He has a lot of experience with fast-growing companies and consistently knows how to avoid logistical bottlenecks. He gets energy from and has extensive experience in building and managing teams, often in international and multicultural environments. Because of his creativity and receptivity to new developments, he is effective in helping customers select and implement new technologies to strengthen their supply chain. He focuses on designing logistical structures, purchasing ICT solutions, transport, warehousing and other logistical services, and implementing the designs.
