I'm a highly experienced logistics and supply chain manager with a strong background in offshore, maritime transport and international project logistics. I know the logistics landscape like no other. With a career in EPC contracting, the offshore industry and international logistics organisations (including Huisman Equipment, SBM Offshore, ExxonMobil, Neste Oil, INEOS P1), I've built a broad foundation. From management roles in the Benelux, EMEA and worldwide, I developed and implemented supply chain solutions for clients in the offshore, EPC, maritime and heavy-lift industries, giving me in-depth expertise in 3PL and 4PL models.
Behind my calm, friendly manner is a distinctly results-oriented professional. I approach conceptual engineering from a different angle, creating advantages in budget, safety, concept development and lead times. I also provide valuable insight into trade compliance: an area that is becoming ever more important in international supply chains.
Collaboration and connection are in my DNA. Thanks to my global experience, I switch effortlessly between disciplines such as procurement, sales and production. I'm also able to involve external parties (such as government bodies and industry associations) quickly and professionally in projects with social impact, for example in sustainability and compliance.
Alongside strategic and operational logistics, I have extensive experience implementing SAP, Dynamics Axapta, WMS and TMS systems. Translating processes into an effective system set-up is a challenge that energises me.
