Seven working sessions, you pick two

With Slimstock, Freightender, Hardis Supply Chain, Dematic, Zencargo, Elemica and VionA

Each knowledge partner tackles one concrete bottleneck in 50 minutes. No presentation, but working on your own case with a small group of peers.

A place where things actually get made. We close with drinks and a room full of people who make the same decisions you do.

The value of this afternoon is in who is sitting next to you.

That is why we screen every registration. It is not a hurdle we hide, it is the reason the conversations over drinks are actually worth having.

This is for you if

✓ you decide on supply chain, production or operations within your organisation

✓ you need to make a decision this year on automation, planning or chain integration

✓ you would rather spend an afternoon working on your own case than listening to presentations

✓ you want to spar with peers who face the same trade-offs

This is not for you if

× you are coming to sell your own services to the room

× you are looking for a general introduction to supply chain

× your role carries no strategic responsibility in these sectors. If your role does not fit, we refund your ticket in full

Michiel van Veen, Quooker

At 16:00 he closes the afternoon, right before the networking drinks.

Michiel van Veen tells the story behind the factory in Ridderkerk: how to scale up without handing over your own chain.

Which two problems do you want solved on 1 October?

Pick two sessions below. You will instantly see what your afternoon looks like. After buying your ticket you confirm that same choice.

Inventory & forecasting

Too much stock of the wrong items, too little of the right ones.

You work on your own inventory norms: how to tie demand forecasting and service levels together without letting your working capital derail.

Pick this session
Freight procurement

Retendering takes weeks and rarely delivers what it promised.

You take home an approach for setting up a freight tender that does produce comparable bids, across all modalities.

Pick this session
Order management

Orders come in through six channels and nowhere is the overall picture the same.

You look at the step from separate channel management to a unified order view, and what that means for your existing WMS and ERP.

Pick this session
Warehouse automation

The warehouse is full, staff are hard to find and expanding takes two years.

You determine which step in automation fits your volume, and which investment you should hold off on for now.

Pick this session
Supply chain visibility

You only find out a shipment is late when the customer calls.

You work on visibility of shipments, costs and lead times, and on what you can actually adjust with that insight.

Pick this session
Chain integration

Every new customer or supplier means building yet another interface.

You explore how to exchange orders, invoices and shipments through one network instead of separate integrations per partner.

Pick this session
Process automation

People retyping data between systems all day long.

You map out which repetitive work in Exact, Visma or Salesforce to automate first, and what that delivers.

An afternoon about innovation does not belong in a hotel conference room. Spark Design & Innovation on Benjamin Franklinstraat is a design agency that has been inventing and building products since 1992, from medical equipment to The Ocean Cleanup’s barrier. The studio sits in an industrial monument from 1947: large daylit spaces, an in-house prototyping workshop and 30+ designers and engineers at work. That is why the workshops here run differently than at a conference.

What else you want to know

How do I pick my two workshops?

After buying your ticket you receive an e-mail with a link to confirm two sessions, one in round 1 and one in round 2. Full is full: fully booked workshops automatically disappear from the list, so choosing early means more choice.

What if my role does not match the target group?

We screen every registration on role and organisation. If your role does not fit, we let you know and refund your ticket in full.

Can I bring a colleague?

Yes, as long as there are seats and the role fits. Everyone buys their own ticket, because the workshop choice is personal and capacity per session is limited.

What happens after the last session?

At 16:00 Michiel van Veen of Quooker speaks, at 16:45 we close plenary and from 17:00 there are networking drinks until 18:00.

What does a ticket cost?

An Early Bird ticket costs €35, a regular ticket €50. You can cancel up to seven days before the event for a full refund.

Where does it take place?

Spark Design & Innovation, Benjamin Franklinstraat 515 in Rotterdam. Free parking is available and doors open at 13:00, with coffee.

Thursday 1 October, 13:00 to 18:00

120 seats, seven working sessions, a keynote and drinks. You pick your two sessions right after purchase.
