I can be described as loyal, energetic, creative and analytical. Developing creative solutions and improving processes gives me energy. Taking a team along as an enthusiastic driving force is my great natural strength. In my free time I'm a reserve soldier and I dive a lot. I live with my wife and two cats in the 'most beautiful' city behind the dunes: The Hague.
During and after my International Business & Management Studies degree, I held various leadership positions as a team lead in logistics and production at companies including de Bijenkorf and Technische Unie. I then completed an intensive Data Analytics bootcamp (3 months full-time at Iron Hack Amsterdam), which means I can explain my findings from the floor or analyse them further as a basis for optimisation. That combination makes me broadly deployable in the world of logistics and supply chains.
At UC Group I've delivered several successful interim assignments for, among others, a leading mobility-rental company. With a strong lean mindset and an eye for the human side, I achieved significant cost savings there, helped build more effective and capable teams, and made processes more efficient.
