Laurens can be described as loyal, energetic, creative and analytical. Developing creative solutions and improving processes gives him energy. Involving a team as an enthusiastic driver is his great natural strength. In his spare time, he is a reserve soldier and dives a lot. During and after studying International Business & Management Studies, Laurens held various leadership positions as team lead in logistics and production at De Bijenkorf and Technische Unie, among others. He then attended an intensive Data Analytics boot camp (3 months full-time at Iron Hack Amsterdam), which allows him to explain or further analyze his findings from the workplace as a basis for optimization. This combination makes him widely deployable in the world of logistics and supply chains. At UC Group, Laurens has carried out several successful interim assignments for a leading provider of mobility equipment. With a strong lean mindset and an eye for the human side, he achieved significant cost savings there, helped build more effective teams with more strength and made processes more efficient.
