Wout is an experienced senior consultant, specialising in transport, logistics & Supply Chain. His personal experience is in business economics aspects of logistics, transport and procurement in the wholesale (listed companies), transport (SME) and logistics (3PL) sectors.
By listening well and continuing to ask questions he and his customers work through the process of understanding, examining and testing possible solutions in depth, and with a multidisciplinary approach wherever necessary. His personal qualities and skills enable him to build up a comprehensive picture of the environment relatively quickly. Whatever solution is chosen, he always takes account of how feasible it is for the organisation. Wout enjoys being part of UC Group and seeing how we can help implement change.
His broad-ranging knowledge and experience in various roles in medium-sized and large businesses mean he enjoys finding solutions for complex logistics issues, also at a strategic level.
Wout is currently working on various projects, including projects aimed at reducing CO2 emissions from transport and optimising Supply Chains via construction hubs at high-rise urban locations, as well as collaborating in LTL freighting via a cloud platform. Outside work, he has been a logistics adviser for Voedselbanken Nederland (180 food banks, 200 vehicles and 13,000 volunteers) since 2020.

Procurement projects, SLAs with logistics service providers. Setting and implementing KPIs.
