Victor is above all a people person, always looking for the question behind the question. That means examining why certain choices are made. He stays calm and collected and makes sure he thinks everything through properly before coming up with possible solutions. That’s why his motto is ‘Knowledge is power’.
His introduction to logistics came as the result of a ‘wrong’ choice during a follow-up course. He then gained hands-on experience of every warehouse activity and made sure he completed all the relevant training courses available, including – ultimately – a degree in Logistics & Economics at the HAN University of Applied Sciences and the APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) programme.
It was during these programmes that he saw how business processes have to be and can be optimised. And what he most enjoys doing is using various software applications precisely for this purpose.
Talking to him, you’ll soon discover his wealth of experience of software implementations for various companies. While he is familiar with all the business processes, his preference is for logistics and supply chain-related environments. His approach is precise and detailed, all with the aim of determining, describing and discussing the way forward with his clients. He sees this as the best way to prepare a plan that enjoys comprehensive support, based on the principle of ‘A deal is a deal’.
Both professionally and privately, he’s always actively looking for opportunities. Whether it’s spending quality time with his family, going skiing with friends or on exciting holidays, or spending an afternoon or evening at De Goffert football stadium in his home city of Nijmegen, he is always keen to be involved!
He is an experienced senior consultant/project leader in ERP implementations.
After completing the APICS programme, he decided to continue broadening his experience by switching to operational and general management. As a logistics or general manager he could then steer software implementation processes that had previously been automated. In both these roles he was responsible for guiding management, as well as for completing projects involving:
His theoretical background in logistics and supply chain management, combined with his years of practical experience in software and ERP, means these are his fields of expertise. He feels at home in both interim management and consultancy roles.
