Peter studied Supply Chain in the Netherlands, USA and France and has always stayed true to this choice. Whether it’s physical distribution, overseeing warehousing operations or managing customer service organisations, the sweet spot for him is the planning process. Planning – sales forecasting, inventory planning, manufacturing requirements and procurement planning – is what really makes him happy, with S&OP and IBP as some of his favourite processes.
Peter is a people person who enjoys guiding complex organisations and can act both operationally and strategically. He loves complex challenges, which he approaches methodically and in dialogue with the organisation, with a clear goal in mind and people at the centre.
Peter has spent most of his professional career in manufacturing industry and so understands all the activities in the supply chain, from production to consumption. He has been working as an independent supply chain expert since 2005.
