Mirjam is primarily driven by wanting to do meaningful work and using her knowledge and experience to help achieve a more sustainable world. She first became involved in socially responsible entrepreneurship as a student and this has been a red thread running through her career ever since. As a business administration specialist, she uses an integrated and multidisciplinary approach to improve connections. She builds structures, focusing on supply chain cooperation and a pragmatic and proactive approach. Her leadership style is based on a clear strategy that responds to changes and takes account of people, relationships and content. As a team player she believes in collaborative efforts based on trust, contact and humour. She is also a keen jogger and loves walks in the countryside, concerts and the theatre.
Experience
Mirjam is a professional with over 20 years’ experience in supply chain and process & product management, primarily in the clothing industry and the energy transition. Over the past 10 years she has contributed to the energy transition in general and to electric mobility in particular. She has successfully built teams in rapidly growing organisations, as well as merging departments and establishing strategic partnerships, and over the years has developed into a logistics chain director. She combines strategic and analytical insight with the clear ability to think conceptually, to be goal-oriented and empathetic, and to think things through in depth. Her experience has shown her that sustainability is not just vital for the wellbeing of our planet, but can also generate economic benefits and have a positive impact on society.
