Laurens can be described as loyal, energetic, creative and analytical. He’s energised by devising creative solutions for improving processes. Outside work, he is a military reservist and does a lot of diving. He and his wife and two cats live in the ‘most attractive town behind the dunes’ (otherwise known as The Hague).
During and after his degree in International Business & Management Studies Laurens held various management positions in logistics and Production at de Bijenkorf chain of department stores and the Technische Unie wholesalers, for example. Having completed an intensive Data Analytics bootcamp (3 months full-time) at Iron Hack Amsterdam he can explain and analyse his workfloor findings and use them as a basis for optimisation. This combination means he can be deployed on a wide-ranging basis in logistics.
