Jan Willem is a dedicated and driven change and project manager, with a wealth of knowledge and experience of the retail sector and of structuring and improving business processes. He combines a good helicopter view with an eye for detail and his commitment to guiding and leading the people in his team.
Supply chain management is the thread running through his organisational and business process knowledge and expertise, including extensive IT experience and experience in management support activities such as finance, accounting and legal. During the early stages of his career he was a manager and executive at various non-food retailers, while for the past ten years he has worked as an interim, project and change manager in this sector. On top of that he has worked in higher education.
As a manager he operates independently and with a clear overview of processes, continually focusing on achieving objectives. He is receptive to and takes account of all stakeholder interests, while focusing on content and taking the lead as a team member in getting everyone to complete the job they’ve been tasked with.
