After a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Eric went on to complete a Bachelor’s in Technical Business Administration at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Eindhoven. This was followed by 10 years as a logistics engineer and an ICT and logistics manager, working for various large customers at a logistics service provider, and then 10 years as a senior logistics consultant at various businesses in the Netherlands and elsewhere.
Eric specialises in optimising logistics processes and overseeing change processes in logistics supply chains, often within a warehouse. He is also very experienced in implementation management and implementing highly mechanised and automated warehousing operations, including e-commerce distribution centres and ordinary pallet warehouses.
With an insightful approach to projects and great affinity for logistics, Eric consistently aims to identify the most straightforward solution. As he sees it, ‘Keep It Stupid Simple’ is often the best and cheapest way to proceed and also translates into high customer satisfaction levels.
Eric’s expertise means his focus within UC Group is primarily on project implementations, supply chain optimisation, logistics feasibility studies, inventory management, and distribution network designing, studies and projects.
