Charles is cheerful and good at seeing things from other people’s perspective, both clients and colleagues alike. He looks for comprehensive solutions that are both measurable and scalable, and always makes sure he keeps everyone on board, without losing sight of the ultimate objective. Wherever possible, he offers various options for complex challenges and then discusses them with the client in detail so as to identify optimal solutions.
He devises practical solutions by combining an enthusiastic and approachable personality with analytical skills. As a project manager he is both flexible and driven, and knows how to convey his vision and envisaged solutions to employees and other stakeholders.
Charles’ financial expertise comes from his time in private equity. His experience in operational logistics comes primarily from working as a logistics manager for Asia, when he worked with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to ensure day-to-day processes ran smoothly and to automate reporting.
He has also worked as a project manager devising and implementing supply chain solutions, including setting up a large international retailer’s overall inventory management (production, warehousing and stores).
This experience makes him excellent at combining financial analyses with supply chain issues and using them as the basis for building a solid business case. In other words, he is ideally equipped to achieve successful collaborations and synergy between financial and logistics departments.
