Bram Kok

Logistics Engineer

Biography

Bram is a young, enthusiastic logistics engineer who is keen to learn and to challenge himself again and again. Helping customers to deal with challenges is where his heart lies. He also likes working with more experienced people who he can learn from and who can help him to build his knowledge and experience. Bram loves sport: as well as supporting Feyenoord he’s an avid fan of Formula 1.

Experience

During his studies Bram gained considerable experience in various areas of logistics. After his first year of studying Logistics Management at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences he started work as an Assistant Forwarder, helping customers by booking shipments for them at various shipping companies and providing any other assistance required. During the internship in the third year of his studies he investigated the cost calculations of a carrier whose core business was transporting raw materials for the pharmaceutical industry by road. After his internship, Bram continued working for that company, where he was the direct point of contact for customers, assisted planners and booked transport orders. His graduation internship involved conducting a study for an inland waterways carrier, focusing on the adaptations needed to switch from transporting vegetable oils and fatty acids to technical oils and fatty acids.
